The Spirit of "la Caixa"

‘The Gaze of the Artist’ is a series of exhibitions that invites artists to select works from the Collection of Contemporary Art to create an exhibition. The aim is to offer new perspectives on the collection and pursue a deeper understanding of the works it contains by seeing them through the lens of each artist’s creative experience. Luis Gordillo’s intense, vital and complex vision allows him to offer us a new encounter with works from the collection. Under the title Dogmatic Cosmetic, the artist has brought together a broad selection of works executed from the 1950s up to the present.
